We can
observe different type of work force in our workplace. Different skilled,
attitudes, age level and grades are few of them. Out of the above reasons, Age
is one of the big reasons for the natural gap between generations.
Generation Gap
is difference of opinions between one generation and another regarding beliefs,
politics or values. ( Wikipedia – 2022 )
Identification
this generation gap and work with different generation is more vital in present
working environment. There are several
advantages and disadvantages exits when dealing with different age groups. As
we could identify several generation in one working environment, it is
important to understand how to manage each generations in order to carry out
our duties effectively.

identifying different generations, we will be able to
Ø Identify what kinds of challenges does this present for today’s
employers ?
Ø How do generational workforce differences affect our ability to
manage people effectively ?
Ø What are the traits, beliefs, and life experiences that mark each
generation, influencing how they work, communicate, and respond to change ?
